What It Takes to Be A Champion

At Fight Fit, we believe that our members’ achievements should be celebrated. That’s why, every 6 weeks, we present the client that loses the most weight and gains the most strength with the coveted Fight Fit Champ award.

Not only does this award give all our members a goal to strive for and a chance to show everyone just how far a little time, sweat, and discipline can take you, but it also lets us give our most outstanding members recognition for all their their hard work.

Our latest Fight Fit Champ at the Markham location was Roupen. Roupen has lost an amazing 18 lb over the past six weeks, and gained a whopping 18 strength points. These results are nothing short of amazing, and we couldn’t be prouder. (For those of you who aren’t familiar with our system, ‘strength points’ are a way we use to keep track of results based on squats, push-ups, and burpees.)

We sat down with Roupen and asked him a few questions to find out what it takes to be a Fight Fit Champ.

Fight Fit: What were your specific results in the last 6 weeks?

Roupen: I fit into clothes I have not worn in over 15 months! I also wake up easier and have less joint pain.

FF: What did you specifically do that helped you achieve these results?

R: I remained focused on my goal and attended 5-6 classes a week. I eat right (small meals 5 times a day). I drink lots of water and no alcohol. Listening to the coaches also helped to keep me on track.

FF: What would you recommend to another client to help achieve these results?

R: You have to find your reason behind why you want to do this. Make it so meaningful so that it becomes stronger than your need to breathe. Only then will the BBQ, the office pizza and the midnight hunger be easy to deal with. I have dropped over 45 lb since joining in mid-July and I know I still have a long way to go but I know I can do it with the team at Fight Fit by my side.
