Meet this months FOTM!

Name: Alan Redly

Occupation: Scientist

How long have you been part of the #FIGHTFAM?: Less then a year

What was your life like prior to joining?: Mostly sedentary. I’ve tried F45 and using my own treadmill or stationary bike but never pushed myself
What RESULTS have you experienced training with us?: Within the first 6 weeks of joining Fight Fitness, I lost 25.6 lbs and 6.7% body fat! I didn’t measure inches but I can say that I have to tighten my belt more and my PJ pants are loose. I feel like I have more energy and am a lot happier with my body. Still have a way to go, but I’m shocked and impressed with the improvement I’ve achieved through the Fight Fitness 6 week challenge

What’s is your favorite class/Workout and WHY?: Kickboxing. I do like the FIIT classes too, but kick boxing just seems to fly by quickly and is a great way to reduce stress.

What is some advice you’d give to someone starting?: Just go for it. Jump right into the 6 week challenge. Even if I didn’t hit the goal of 25 lbs in 6 weeks, I was sold by the great sense of community and the absolutely amazing and motivating coaches

What is a quote or mantra that keeps you motivated?: The first quote I ever saw on the board inside the Fight Fitness gym was “Don’t be afraid to start over, because this time you’re starting from experience”. That really spoke to me. I’ve tried managing my weight before and even the smallest slip or cheat made me feel horrible. It was not sustainable. The quote taught me that mistakes may happen but you can always start again.
