Name: Bailey Currie

Occupation: Mom & Flight attendant

How long have you been part of the #FIGHTFAM: Less than a year

What was your life like prior to joining: After having kids, my fitness was next to nothing. Apart from trying to keep up with my kids, I wasn’t prioritizing my health and fitness. I eating when I had the time and wasn’t mindful of what I was consuming.

What RESULTS have you experienced training with us? I started with the 6 week challenge. I helped me to focus on my nutrition and highlighted areas I needed to work on. Committing to 3+ classes a week with the challenge pushed me to workout, even when I didn’t feel like it. Because of that, I got over the hump and I started to look forward to going to classes. Over the 6 weeks, I lost 13 lbs and had more energy. Rather than napping when my baby was napping, I had the energy to get things done (or take the time for myself).

What’s is your favourite class/workout and WHY? When I first started at Fight Fitness I dreaded FITT classes and MUCH preferred KB. But more and more I amd enjoying FITT and the way by body feels after a class.

What is some advice you’d give to someone starting? Keep at it. It can be hard when you’re just starting to find the motivation. The classes can be challenging and things may not come naturally. But that passes the more you do it. You’ll start to feel the want and need to workout and feel so much better, mentally and physically, when you do.
